Vacation Bible School is fast approaching.

At Rainforest Falls, kids will explore the nature of God!
Rainforest Falls is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®.
Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. -Ezekiel 36:26-27

Dear Church Family,

I want you issue you an invitation to join me in prayer throughout this day as tensions between the US and Iran have become extremely dangerous. Our President has threatened that "a whole civilization will die tonight" and Iran has threatened to "target infrastructure in a manner that will deprive the US and other countries from oil and gas resources for years to come." This kind of rhetoric is a threat to the safety and wellness of our entire world. The consequences of either nation acting upon such rhetoric could be disastrous for our world.

Please get on your knees (or in another humble posture if your knees do not allow) to pray throughout this day that God's Spirit work in powerful ways and cause cooler wiser voices to prevail. Pray for God to powerfully use those who seek peace over those who revel in war. And pray for our military who may be called into harms way and for their families.

I will be opening the sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. this evening for a time of informal prayer for any who wish to join me.

May God walk with us in the hours and days ahead and may we live as people who seek peace through our Risen Christ in all that we do.
