The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will gather for their annual Spring Plenary Assembly June 7-12. During the assembly on June 11, they will consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in celebration of the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.

Let us join in prayer as we honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country on Memorial Day.

God of power and mercy,
you destroy war and put down earthly pride.
Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears,
that we may all deserve to be called your sons
and daughters.
Keep in your mercy those men and women
who have died in the cause of freedom
and bring them safely
into your kingdom of justice and peace.

Makeup Weekend Opportunity – May 23rd
As summer approaches and many begin making vacation plans, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued faithfulness and generosity. Your tithes and offerings make a meaningful difference in the life of our church and community.

Holy Spirit will be hosting a Basic Self-Defense Workshop on Sunday, June 7, 3 - 5 pm at Norfolk Karate Academy.

Register soon as there are limited space available. The cost is $10 for participants ages 11 and up. Children ages 5–10 may attend free of charge.
