Donald Lee White of Viriginia Beach, VA passed away peacefully in Marion, SC at home with Julie McCollum by his side. A memorial service is planned Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Anglican Church of the Advent, 307 Main Street, Marion SC. All friends and family are invited to attend to the memorial service and visitation in the Parrish Hall afterwards. The service will be streamed on this page

Helpful info about the impending nor'easter. Though the water will be blowing away from Sandbridge, we have many congregation members who come "over the river and through the woods" to get here from all over the 757! Stay safe, stay dry, stay tuned to St. Simon's Fb page, your email, and texts for updates. For now, Blessing of Animals will move to Oct. 19, 2nd Sunday donations, vestry, coffee hour and church as scheduled. If you cannot make it this week due to weather, etc., you can bring food donations the following week. as well.

A nor’easter storm could bring heavy rain, flooding and high winds to Virginia Beach this weekend. City parking garages at Town Center will be open starting Saturday afternoon and through Monday morning for those who need to move their vehicles out of flood-prone areas.
