We are living in a dangerous time: a time when many claim to be turning, but they aren't turning to the Most High. Many have turned to religion, to emotions, to religious excitement; but they haven't returned to the El Elyon. In Hosea's day, the people turned everywhere except to Yahweh. Unfortunately, many believers today do the same thing. The deceitful bow is a reminder that many today look stable, prepared, and ready; but when pressures come - when battles come - when testing come, many don't shoot straight. They profess one thing, but their actions fly another way.

There is a dangerous place where many people live, but few recognize it. That place is called "Almost." And here is the danger of almost: it sounds close, but it is eternally far. This is where many people live today - they hear the truth but don't act; they feel conviction but delay; the agree with the Word but don't submit. Yahweh is calling for His people to open their eyes, to come out of darkness, to repent, to turn from their wicked ways, and to prove their change with works meet for repentance. The most dangerous response anyone can have today is ALMOST.
