💛 Small Church, Big Hearts: Let's Love on Our Leaders💛

Can I be real with y'all for a minute? 🙋‍♀️

In a small church, our pastors and youth ministers wear a LOT of hats. Teacher. Counselor. Event planner. Sound guy. Cook. Chair and table stacker. And sometimes they're covering three jobs on one Sunday morning without a single complaint.

But here's the thing... they get tired too. And some weeks, they wonder if any of it is making a difference. 🥺

So let's make sure they never have to wonder! A few simple ways to show up for them:

🙏 Pray for them by name. Better yet, ask them how you can pray.

💌 Say thank you. A card, a text, a sticky note on their door. It matters more than you know!

✨ Be present, not just present. Sing, listen, lean in. Our kids learn what church means by watching what we do there.

👧 Bring the kids consistently. Faith grows in community, one week at a time.

🧽 Stick around to help clean up. Many hands make light work (and nobody should be stacking chairs alone).

🙌 Ask, "What can I take off your plate?"Then actually take it!

📣 Tell them when something stuck. When your kiddo comes home quoting a lesson, let their teacher know!

Start your list now, not the week of.

Three things folks always forget: extra trash bags, a plan for rain, and one adult whose only job is standing at the door greeting people.

Volunteer tip nobody tells you. Ask people for one specific Sunday, not "we need help."

"Can you take snack on the 12th?" gets a yes. "We're short on volunteers" gets scrolled past.

💌 Dottie's Mailbag: Norma's Round Robin 💌

Long before Facebook, my Grandma Norma was part of a round robin with a group of ladies. A big envelope would arrive in her mailbox full of notes and little treasures the others had tucked inside. She'd take one, add her own, and send it on to the next lady on the list. 📬

That envelope always fascinated me. And I think we could all use a little more of that kind of connection today. 💜

So let's bring it back! 🐔✨

Here's how it works:

🎁 Add a note plus one small flat item (recipe card, bookmark, prayer card, favorite scripture, craft idea)
