Anchored in Hope A 20s and 30s community at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera, Florida.

The purpose of our 20s and 30s community is to inspire and support each other to maintain our walk of faith through our life transitions, to cultivate personal and spiritual growth, to fall deeper in love with the Jesus and His message, and to glorify God in all that we do. This is accomplished in friendship, fellowship, evangelization, and service to our community through discussion of our Catholic Faith and how it applies to our lives.

American actor Chris Pratt, best known for his roles in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Jurassic World,” is currently filming a documentary on the Vatican Necropolis, which lies underneath Vatican City containing tombs dating from the first to fourth century A.D., at depths varying between 16 and 39 feet below St. Peter’s Basilica.

The film, which is being produced by Vatican Media, the Fabric of St. Peter, and AF Films, will be released in 2026 for the 400th anniversary of the inauguration and dedication of the basilica.

We will be joining our fellow St. John’s Community members over the next several weeks for their study on Living Joy by Chris Stefanick. Please email Mary Adams ([email protected]) to register for the Thursday evening program at 6:30p. It has been confirmed that we can bring food with us, and there’s still room for us to join.

We’ll be back on November 21 for our Thanksgiving Potluck and our Advent hangout in December.
