A Quick Note from Pastor Brad...

Many have been asking about our new Community Courts for basketball and pickleball. I’m thrilled to share that last week we received a very generous grant from the C.R. Moore Legacy Foundation that will allow us to begin building these courts in the next few months. Our contractor was on site this week walking the property and taking measurements, and we hope to break ground in November or early December. We are thankful to the foundation’s board for their generosity and confidence in Cross Bridge Church and this outreach opportunity.

The foundation is named in honor of Rev. C.R. Moore, founder of Lake Worth First Church of the Nazarene in south Florida and of Lake Worth Towers, an 11-story building with 195 apartments for seniors. Rev. Moore served his community in countless ways from 1946 until his death in 1994. The foundation was chartered in 2023, when its board decided to sell Lake Worth Towers and use the proceeds to fund its charitable work.

Rev. Moore had a heart for reaching and caring for all ages, young and old, which makes these courts such a fitting tribute to his life. On a personal note, C.R. Moore was Melanie's grandfather and pastor during her early childhood years. Melanie and I were married in the Lake Worth Church that he built. It is meaningful to our family to see his legacy continued here at Cross Bridge.

College is not your kid's future. Their sports career is not your kid's future. Their future is eternity with God or eternity separated from God. That's their future.

Godly living is caught more than it is taught. Children observe the "live photo" of their parents' faith all week long, not just the posed Sunday version.
