Without the mind of Christ there is no possible path to discernment. Seek the heart & the mind of God. See the world through the lens of His Word.

The Bible says, as believers, you have the mind of Christ - seek discernment.

I Corinthians 2:10-16 “these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him?

So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.

And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ”

Thank you, Lord! Happy 4th of July!

God providentially ordered the birth of this nation and lavished His grace on us in ways that most nations in the history of nations could not conceive.

It’s going to be a great 4th of July! “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, a...

It’s going to be a great 4th of July!

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Prayer works. Let’s pray.

“O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the hearts of your people, and direct their hearts toward you.” 1 Chronicles 29:18

This Sunday is a National Prayer Day. This is a clip of it’s description: “President Trump has announced on May 17, 2026, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to rededicate the United States as "One Nation Under God" for its 250th anniversary. This event, dubbed a National Jubilee of Prayer, focuses on repentance, reformation, and returning the nation to Judeo-Christian values.”

George Washington set the precedent for national prayer acknowledging God's role in the nation's founding.

Abraham Lincoln, in 1863, established a proclamation for a day of humility, fasting, and prayer, stating that "those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord".

Ronald Reagan established the first Thursday of May as the National Day of Prayer in 1988.

“Full atonement! Can it be?" (Hallelujah! What a Savior - Philip Bliss 1875)

This is how to know if someone is a true Believer. This becomes our evidence.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” Galatians 5:22-26

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

“I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate….” Psalm 145

May the Body of Christ be a blessing to The Father. Start today, make a plan, set the date & pray.

Remove yourself from all forms of distraction. Reject all forms of social media self-promotion & those that seek to do the same. You really don’t need the latest social media headlines & you don’t need people who only exist to you online.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Is this now number 3 or 4 assassination attempts on a president? So-called believers who celebrate this have fallen away from the faith.

2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 spells it all out. It’s definitely worth the read. The whole chapter has said the same thing for over 2,000 years “…For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work….” You can see how the culture self-conditions itself to receive the false one.

True Believers in Jesus are the only ones in the room where the light shines brighter the darker the surrounding world becomes.

John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

And it never will.

Luke 23
“…One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
