It was a beautiful Pentecost Sunday at CTK. It was so good to have Jessica and Maggie stop by for a visit today. The church was lovely with decorations and red outfits and beautiful smiles.

On this day, the Spirit is poured out, opening the way of life to every people and every place. The breath of God fills the church, sending us out to proclaim, to serve, and to love in ways that renew the world. We pray that this gift would be kindled in us again, that we may share in the life of the Holy Spirit and bear it to the ends of the earth.

Christ the King hosted medical workers from Emory and Mercer today. What an honor and pleasure to feed those who take care of migrant workers in our region.

As in years past, this was a team effort! Members from St. Barnabas, Christ Church, Christ the King, and Mosaic United Methodist prepared the delicious meals for our wonderful guests.
