First African Baptist Church would like the community to know that we have a FREE Clothing Closet that is open year-round to serve anyone in need. Our mission is to be a blessing to our community by providing clothing and support to individuals and families throughout the year.

The Clothing Closet is open to the public, and everyone is welcome. If you or someone you know is in need of clothing, shoes, we are here to help. There is no cost, and anyone can come and shop throughout the year as items are available.

In addition to our regular Clothing Closet ministry, we also host two large community giveaways each year featuring clothing, household items, free lunch and more for families in need.

At First African Baptist Church, we believe in serving others with love, compassion, and dignity. We invite the community to come and be blessed.
For more information, please contact us here First African Baptist Church. We look forward to serving you!

Our closet will be open this upcoming Saturday from 10am to 12pm.

There are stories in our history that must never be forgotten.

Bloody Tuesday was more than a moment in history… it was a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who stood for justice and equality, even in the face of violence and fear.

At First African Baptist Church, we honor that legacy and the voices that helped shape change for generations to come.

We invite the community to join us as we remember, reflect, and continue the conversation.
