Monday Morning Prayer Reflection
Scripture: Romans 12:17–21
As we begin this new week, Romans 12 reminds us to live peacefully with all people whenever possible. There may be moments when we encounter evil, negativity, or difficult situations, but we must not allow those things to overtake us.
God has given us His Spirit to help us respond differently. Instead of retaliating or seeking revenge, we are called to overcome evil with good. Our lives are not to be patterned after the world, but after God’s Word.
We have the power of His presence and the responsibility to put His teachings into practice every day. We can trust God to handle every injustice and every battle we face.
This is a week of victory, and we will be overcomers. We will walk in peace, operate in love, and trust God in every circumstance. We will not be defeated by challenges because God’s Spirit lives within us.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of a new week. Help us to live peacefully with others and not allow negativity, anger, or evil to control our actions. Strengthen us through Your Spirit so that we may overcome evil with good. Teach us to follow Your Word instead of the ways of the world. Help us to trust You with every situation and leave revenge in Your hands.
We declare that this is a week of victory, and we will be overcomers. We will walk in faith, peace, and purpose, knowing that You are with us every step of the way.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
