That’s a wrap for Vacation Bible School 2026! What an absolutely incredible week it was full of laughter, new friendships, and powerful moments discovering who Jesus truly is. He is the Light of the World, and WOW did that light shine bright!

We saw hearts open, questions asked, prayers whispered, and faith grow right in front of us. There’s nothing more powerful than watching young people realize that Jesus loves them deeply and personally.

To every volunteer, parent, kid, and leader who poured their time, energy, and love into this week THANK YOU. You made this VBS something truly special.

Here’s to the light that was shared, the joy that was felt, and the seeds of faith planted in every heart.

Last night 21 women got together to eat great food but most importantly to fellowship! Everyone had a fantastic time. Make your plans to join us for the next event!

This coming Sunday we will be taking up a love offering for God's House of Hope, a residential recovery ministry. Representing the ministry and preaching during the service will be Jim Stables. Please pray about what God is laying on your heart to give.

Camp is going great. Please continue to keep this group in your prayers as the week progresses. Pray that hearts will remain open to God's leading, that lives will be changed, and that decisions made this week will have a lasting impact. We are excited to see what God will continue to do throughout the remainder of camp!

Please be advised that our church is NOT currently collecting funds for either of these purposes. Do not send money or provide personal information to anyone claiming to collect funds on behalf of our church.

Night 1 of VBS was a HUGE Success!
We had an incredible turnout, amazing energy, and so many smiling faces. If you missed it, don’t worry! There are still THREE nights left, and we would LOVE for you to join us.

Taylorville Baptist Church is still hosting our Vacation Bible School registration event tonight at 6pm at the Kelley Center. We've moved the bounce houses inside the Kelley Center for tonight.

Black Ice Snow Cones will still be there — every kid who registers gets a ticket for one free snow cone. Adults, if you'd like one, you can purchase from the food truck.

This is a come-and-go event. Bring your kids to play the whole time, or just stop in to register, grab a snow cone, and head out.

This will be a church-wide event so no prayer meeting, but choir will still meet at 7:00 in the sanctuary.
