An Overview of Victory College

Victory College is an independent co-educational, interdenominational, two year Bible School. VC is open to Christians from various backgrounds who desire to study the Word of God and further develop their spiritual life and ministry. Students receive practical training through Christian service in the various departments and outreaches of the church. VC has a goal of imparting life experience, ministering restoration and empowering students with personal knowledge of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. In summary, the school is designed to provide instruction to students in biblical doctrines of the Christian faith, restoration of an intimate relationship with God and development of spiritual maturity in fulfilling the commission and vision that God has given to each student. There are three programs of study offered at VC: Ministry, Worship, and Media. Visit http://victory.college TODAY for more information or to apply!

At our last Flood, we experienced God’s presence together in a way only He could lead us into. We praised Him through the seven Hebrew words for praise, and He revealed His heart as a good Father. We couldn’t help but celebrate.

The full experience is now on our YouTube. Watch and let God minister to you. If you’re going through a difficult season, we pray you’ll encounter Him in a special way.

The waters are rising.

Happy October 31st… Reformation Day! 📜

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther’s Ninety-Five Theses called attention to serious questions about the church’s teaching and practice. The Reformation became a movement that called Christians back to the authority of Scripture and the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Its message is often summed up in five Latin phrases, known as the Five Solas:

Sola Scriptura — Scripture alone: The Bible is our highest authority for faith and life.
Sola Gratia — Grace alone: Salvation is God’s gift, not something we can earn.
Sola Fide — Faith alone: We receive salvation by trusting in Jesus Christ.
Solus Christus — Christ alone: Jesus is the one mediator and the foundation of our salvation.
Soli Deo Gloria — To God alone be the glory: Our lives and our salvation point back to God’s goodness and greatness.

These truths are more than a moment in church history. They remind us to keep returning to the Scriptures, to hold firmly to the gospel, and to center our lives on Jesus.

At Victory Bible College, we believe the Word of God is essential to knowing Him and faithfully answering His call. We teach the Scriptures so students can grow in biblical understanding, be formed in their faith, and carry the truth of the gospel into every area of life and ministry. Reformation Day gives us an opportunity to remember that the church is always called to be shaped by God’s Word and to give Him all the glory.

Immanuel: Immanuel
Original Word: עִמָּנוּאֵל
Word Origin: [from H5973 (עִם - against) and H410 (אֵל - God) with a pronominal suffix inserted]

1. with us (is) God
2. Immanuel, a type name of Isaiah’s son

Etymology and Meaning
Immanuel combines the Hebrew preposition עִם (ʿim, “with”), the first-person plural pronoun נוּ (nū, “us”), and אֵל (ʾēl, “God”), yielding the confession “God with us.” More than a personal name, it is a declarative statement of the covenant presence of YHWH among His people.

“I didn’t know what the next step was or what the future held. I just kept obeying God.”

When Pastor Tati first came to Victory Bible College, she couldn’t have imagined all the places God would lead her. She came to grow, learn, and follow His direction—and the foundation she built at VBC helped prepare her for a life of ministry and missions.

After graduating, Pastor Tati and her husband served in Brazil for 14 years, where they helped launch Victory Bible College International. Today, she leads missions at Victory, helping send teams around the world. Looking back, she can see God’s faithfulness through every step.

You may not know exactly what your next step looks like either. But Preview Day is a great place to explore, ask questions, and see how Victory Bible College can help you grow in faith, biblical knowledge, and your ability to serve.

God isn’t asking us to figure everything out on our own. He wants us to trust Him, depend on His Word, and recognize Him as our source. 🙌

No matter what the circumstances look like, we can choose faith over fear and trust that God is faithful to provide, guide, and lead us every step of the way.
