We had a BLAST on our Mini-Mission to Canyon Camp! These faithful students and young adults devoted their time to building up our UMC campground.

We started with dinner at Rudy's in OKC, gathered around a bonfire to roast s'mores (and perhaps jumped over the flames a time or two), and woke up early to hike to the cross to watch the sun rise (we had hot coffee to keep us warm!). We spent the rest of Saturday painting 8 bunk beds in Cabin 11, and finished off our epic adventure at Chicken N' Pickle playing corn hole and bocce ball! Memories were made, sacred work was done, and God and God's people were served!

Wow! Our Pancake Dinner & Fundraiser raised $5,300!!! Our goal was $6,000, and we are so grateful to everyone who contributed to this awesome fundraiser - Faith United Methodist Church, Tulsa and Grace United Methodist Church for supplying and cooking all the food, University United Methodist Church for hosting us, all those who donated a silent auction item (Faith UMC, Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, our Wesley Board, and Grace UMC) and all our wonderful guests who bought tickets and showed up for college ministry... thank you to ALL of you!

*If I missed someone forgive me! What a blessing to have so many to thank!!!

Our Pancake Dinner Fundraiser is coming up Tuesday, Feb, 17! It'll be from 5-7PM and tomorrow is the last day for early bird ticket prices! $10 for an adult dinner and $5 for kids. Price goes up $5 at the door. Snag your tickets at the link below!
