John 9:11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”

He called Jesus a Man, a Prophet and finally, Lord. Indeed He is the Man who would die for us, the Prophet who would reveal the Heart of God and the Lord of All. He is the only One who can open blind eyes. He is the Man, Prophet and Lord of all today.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

The devil lied to himself that he would be like the most high. He then lied to the other angels. He lied to Adam and the woman that they would be gods. He lies when he denies the Son of God. Men delight in these lies. Jesus is the Truth. Stand in the truth today.

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Oh how great is the darkness of this world! The deep clouds of sin and satan blot out the light of the Lord in the hearts of fallen men. It is a self-imposed darkness, men love darkness rather than light. But oh how great is the light! It is a light bright enough to enlighten every man with the truth and love of God and the light is the Person. All life is seen properly by the light of the One Man today.

John 8:6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

As the men stood pointing the finger at the woman, Jesus took a lower posture, but in stooping down, He wrote on the ground with His finger the whole time ignoring them. Men love to stand in judgment, but know that God is keeping a record of the deeds of men which shall be read at the Great White Throne Judgement. Let us watch where we point the finger today.

John 7:25-26Now some of them from Jerusalem said, “Is this not He whom they seek to kill? But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

They need to make up their minds. Kill Him or Crown Him. Indeed, those are the only two options. Either He is a lying deceiver who has been the means of a wasted life for millions, or He is the Christ who died, rose, ascended and will return to judge the world. There was no other option then, neither is there today.

John 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.

The Creator and Sustainer of life being pushed around by His creation. Why? Timing. His “time had not yet come”. His actions were not of expedience, but obedience, obedience to the Father’s will and timing. He would go down to Judea again, but the timing of the cross was by the predetermined counsel of God. Let us not be in such a hurry today.

John 6:41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”

The Jews hated His exclusivity. Most everyone does. He is the Only food that comes from Heaven. If you want the life which is from heaven, there is only one item on the menu - The Lord Jesus. But then, why would you want anything else? Taste and see that the Lord is good today.

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

And so it is today. Great crowds come the the Lord for what they can get. They come to Him to fix their problems, give them peace in this life, give them financial security, give, give, give. The true believer comes to Him because He is the true God and Eternal Life. It is the Person, not the possessions that draw to the Lord Jesus. Why are you coming today?

John 6:5-6 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

Pop quiz time for Philip. He failed. Jesus asked where, Philip answered that the problem was too big. Pop quiz for you. How can one get to heaven? No one can. Fail. Don’t look at the problem, look to the Person. The answer is not a how, but a Who. This is the real test. How will you get to heaven if you should die today?

John 5:36 But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

Everything He said, everything He did, everyplace He went, it was all a testimony of the Father’s will and way - Salvation through His Beloved Son. Jesus finished all the works of the Father on earth and is now at His right hand receiving sinners who believe on Him. He is still the One who the Father witnesses to today.
