A new season of beauty, music, and connection is coming to St. Augustine Cathedral.

The 2026/2027 Cathedral Concert Series: CONFLUENCES will bring together seven unique performances from October through April, spanning dance, chamber music, choral traditions, medieval repertory, classical guitar, and solo piano.

Each concert offers a different way to experience how faith, culture, memory, and artistic expression come together through live performance.

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson is proud to help support this extraordinary series and the role the arts can play in bringing people together.

🎶 Seven encounters. One remarkable season.

Some gifts meet an immediate need.

Others can continue serving the Church long into the future.

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson helps build and steward endowment funds designed to support the long-term sustainability of the local Catholic Church, while helping donors pursue their philanthropic goals and investing those funds responsibly and according to Catholic values.

An endowment is about thinking beyond today.

It is an opportunity to help strengthen the ministries, parishes, schools, and Catholic organizations that matter to us — not only now, but for generations still to come.

That kind of generosity becomes part of a legacy.

A legacy of faith.

A legacy of stewardship.

And a legacy that helps ensure the Church can continue educating, serving, ministering, and caring for people throughout Southern Arizona.

If you have ever wondered how your charitable giving might create a lasting Catholic legacy, the Catholic Foundation is here to help you explore the possibilities.

What will your legacy of faith look like?

August is National Make-A-Will Month, a meaningful reminder to make sure your plans reflect not only the people you love, but also the values and causes that have shaped your life.

By including the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson in your will, trust, or estate plan, you can help strengthen our Catholic community for generations to come—supporting parish life, Catholic education, vocations, charitable outreach, and ministries throughout the Diocese.

To make the process easier, the Catholic Foundation has partnered with FreeWill to provide complimentary estate-planning resources for those creating a will for the first time or updating an existing plan.

A planned gift can become more than a financial decision. It can be a lasting expression of faith, generosity, and hope.

🙏 Prayerfully consider the legacy you would like to leave behind and learn more about beginning or updating your will through the Catholic Foundation.

One gift can touch more lives than we sometimes realize.

Through the Annual Catholic Appeal, Catholics across the Diocese of Tucson come together to support ministries and services that strengthen our parishes, Catholic schools, social-service programs, seminarian education, and other diocesan works.

That means generosity offered in one place can help support the Church’s mission across Southern Arizona.

It can help strengthen faith communities.

Support education.

Serve individuals and families in need.

Prepare future priests for ministry.

And help sustain the work of the Diocese in ways that no single parish or ministry could accomplish alone.

The Annual Catholic Appeal is one way we live out stewardship together — sharing what we have been given in service to one another.

Thank you to everyone whose generosity helps make that work possible.

🎶 Faith, history and the beauty of Southern Arizona come together in “The White Dove of the Desert.”

Tucson singer-songwriter Omar Mondragón de Leon has created a heartfelt musical tribute honoring San Xavier del Bac, Venerable Padre Kino, and the Tohono O’odham people whose history is deeply connected to the Mission.

Written with co-author Chris Bennett, the song reflects Omar’s personal faith and reverence for San Xavier while blending regional storytelling, folk influence and the unmistakable spirit of the Sonoran Desert.

The article also shares Omar’s hope that the song will help more people appreciate Padre Kino’s legacy and, in some small way, support awareness of his cause for canonization.

We invite you to read the full story from the Diocese of Tucson’s New Outlook and learn more about the inspiration behind this uniquely Southern Arizona expression of faith.

When we give together, our impact reaches far beyond our own parish. ❤️

The Annual Catholic Appeal is an opportunity for Catholics throughout the Diocese of Tucson to come together in support of the ministries and programs that serve our faith community every day.

Gifts to the Appeal help provide resources for our parishes, Catholic schools, seminarian and clergy formation, diocesan ministries, and community outreach serving individuals and families throughout Southern Arizona.

Every gift—large or small—is part of something much bigger. It helps strengthen the Church’s ability to educate, minister, serve, and respond to the needs of our communities.

We invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the Annual Catholic Appeal and joining Catholics across our Diocese in putting faith into action.

Faith in action can be as simple — and as powerful — as making sure a neighbor has something to eat. ❤️

In Bisbee, the St. Vincent de Paul ministry continues to put Catholic social teaching into practice through its weekly food outreach, serving individuals and families in the local community who are experiencing food insecurity.

This ministry is a beautiful reminder that the Church's mission doesn't end at the doors of our parishes.

It continues wherever there is someone hungry, someone struggling, or someone who simply needs to know that their community has not forgotten them.

At the Catholic Foundation, we believe these acts of service represent something much larger than the food being distributed. They represent dignity, compassion, community, and Christ's call to care for one another.

Programs like this are possible because people choose to give their time, talents, resources, and hearts in service to others. Together, those individual acts of generosity can have an extraordinary impact throughout Southern Arizona.

We invite you to read this inspiring story from the Diocese of Tucson and see how our Catholic community in Bisbee continues to answer the call to serve.

When we care for our neighbors, we strengthen our entire community. 🙏
