Our church's story is more than buildings and programs--it's about people as their lives intersect with one another and with the power and reality of God. Troy First Assembly of God exists to fulfill the mandate that Jesus gave over 2000 years ago – Connect people to the God who created them and loves them. We're passionate about that mission, in all of its forms, reaching beyond our doors to our

community, our region and our world. As a Bible based community that embraces the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to reach people with the love of God, we’re all about helping people know Him, connect with others, discover their purpose, and make a difference in their world. We do it in a lot of ways: community outreach, music and creative arts, prayer, equipping people for ministry, children and youth programs, fellowship opportunities, home and foreign missions, and Biblical instruction, just to name a few. And the story of Troy First AG is continuing to be written through children, youth, and adults - serving and loving one other and trying hard to follow after Jesus.

Great progress for Pastor Darrell!
Thanking the Lord for His healing

Update from his daughter/son
We have some wonderful news to share! Dad is doing very well! He is leaving the NKC Hospital Cardiac ICU and will be stepping down to the inpatient cardiac floor tomorrow, Monday. From there, he will transition to Acute Care inpatient rehab at NKC Hospital sometime this week to continue working on his mobility. Medically, his surgery is healing fantastic—such a blessing. God is so good!

The latest about Pastor Darrell from his daughter and son
To God be all the glory!

We’ve had a really encouraging day today — Dad walked three times, the fluid is finally gone, and he ate three full meals. All of this is such a great improvement!
Tomorrow (Sunday), we should find out if he will be moving out of the ICU. I also learned tonight that he may need to go to inpatient rehab before returning to Pleasant Valley Manor due to his mobility, but we’re taking things one step at a time.
More to come… thank you all so much for the prayers, support, and love. It truly means everything to us.
Dad also wants to thank you for your love and support — he can’t wait to see/speak to all of you.
