Weekly Reflection: There is joy in heaven every time someone turns back to God. Not reluctant acceptance, not a reminder of how far they had wandered — joy. Christ wants us to know that no one is ever too far gone to be wanted by Him, and repentance looks a lot like a lost sheep being carried home to a celebration.

We've all been that lost sheep. ✝️

🐾 Something fun is coming to St. Paul this October!

Take a look at the flyer for all the details, and please help us spread the word by sharing the news with your friends, neighbors, and fellow animal lovers as we give thanks for God's creatures. Whether they have paws, claws, hooves, feathers, fins, or anything in-between, He loves them all — and our pastor is ready to go to where they're most comfortable and say a special prayer of blessing over them. 🐾

Weekly Reflection: We all want to be seen and understood. It hurts when others assume the worst about us or jump to a conclusion that isn't true. Thankfully, God never does. His Word cuts through our own explanations and everyone else's assumptions and lays our hearts bare before Him. He knows what we meant, what we're struggling with, where we've failed, and where we've been faithful. There's nothing about us He misunderstands. And in Christ, the One who knows us completely is also the One who forgives us, loves us, and calls us His own. ✝️

Ask the Pastor, with Pastor Abraham McNally

Episode 27

Today's question:
Last Sunday, we read in Matthew 16 about "the rock" and the "keys of the kingdom of heaven." What do these mean?

Weekly Reflection: We often feel alone in this world. Lasting relationships, whether that be friendship or love, sometimes do not seem so easy to find. But the truth is, we are never alone. Not only has Christ promised to be with us, but He has provided His Church to us for our continued needs. He has made us part of one body with one another. We are all friends in His Church, and we ought to confidently lean on one another and lift one another up. So, the next time you feel alone, remember you don't have to be. Christ loves you, and both He and His Church welcome you with open arms. ✝️
