Hello everyone! Three things to announce on the FB page this morning:

1. If you can make it to the church on the 26th so we can constitute a quorum for the annual meeting, it would be greatly appreciated.

2. Positions that are needed and nominated for the 2025 Church Council are as follows:

Secretary (1 yr)- Sandy Moses
Financial Secretary (2 yr)- Carrie Linderman
Trustee (3 yr)- Matt Tiedt
Deacon (2 required)- Cindy Kolthoff, Roger Dittmer
Education- Currently held by Kelly McCumber, Pat Van Auken
Memorial- Cindy Asmus

3. The third announcement is a little longer:
For those of you who did not hear, Pastor Evan is now officially part of the ELCA as a "pastor ready for call!" Per the Denominational and Synod requirements this means that we will need to have a call vote. This will mean that a representative of the Synod or the Bishop will be at the Annual meeting on the 26th of this month to have an official call vote by ballot. The purpose of the vote is to make Pastor Evan officially part of the ELCA rostered ministers by moving me from a pastor "under contract through a different denomination" with you to a "called pastor" with you. If you are questioning what this means for all of you as far as my relationship to this church goes. Effectively, nothing changes. This is a formality that needs done for denominational and synod records so that I become officially part of the ELCA roster of ministers.
