WHO WE ARE:
Immanuel Lutheran Church of Klinger is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. WHAT WE BELIEVE:
Along with the historic Christian church we confess the three ecumenical creeds: The Apostles' Creed, The Nicene Creed, & The Athanasian Creed

As members of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, we believe that Scripture is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and as s

uch is the only authority in matters of faith (Sola scriptura). We believe that we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ by grace alone (Sola gratia). We believe that we are justified through faith, not works (Sola fide). The Lutheran Confessions [www.lcms.org/page.aspx?pid=414] are found in the Book of Concord of 1580, a collection of the confessional documents of the Christian faith and the Lutheran reformers. The basis for all documents in the Book of Concord is Scripture, God's inspired Word. The Divine Service follows 9:00 AM Children's Sunday and begins at 10:00 AM. Summer worship time is 9:30 AM and no Sunday School. *NOTE SUMMER 2022: month of June joint worship service with St Paul-Readlyn held at Immanuel-Klinger 9:00 AM; month of July all joint worship services will be held at St Paul-Readlyn 9:00 AM*

Join us as we see how Paul speaks to a crowd wanting to kill him as he navigates the Roman legal system.

Here, we'll see how Paul protects himself as much as he is able. He doesn't avoid the suffering or lie to get out of trouble, yet, we'll see him work to make sure he's able to continue spreading the Gospel.

9As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.
10And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. 11And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Matthew 9:9–13 ESV
