Hello followers.

Ive got my Ofrenda set up this year, do you?
I usually have my ancestral alter set up year round but having moved recently I dont have it up yet.

Oct 27th and 28th.
Do you set up an ofrenda? Or have an ancestral alter?

I put one up last night. They say our pets come through the veil before our ancestors, lighting the way for them.

Oct 28th is our day for those we lost tragically.
Bradley has a main spot, right next to Busia.

On a very personal note,
I went and saw my best friend/cousin on my way out of Toledo this am. All of the hot wheels and the stuffed Peep Bunny are from me.

Unfortunately today was a harder day out for me. Our Busias birthday is tomorrow.

Bradley was run over and killed by a woman who was driving an ice cream truck and breaking several laws while doing it. Do you remember when this happened? It was all over the news. Or maybe you went to school with him at Sacred Heart👀

He's been gone for 27 years.

I will grieve him until I join him.

Took a walk around Collingwood yesterday to document things.
So incredibly frustrating that the city of Toledo doesn't give two flying flips about Collingwood Cemetery.

Its a damned SHAME how many headstones are broken and hidden in the tree line.
Ive emailed the city council, went to the news and ill be emailing the Mayor soon.

We all know this is my personal project and im truly vested in this.

There are mayors, pioneer families, and veterans buried here. And the city NEGLECTS THEM.

I will be back next season to resume this project. Really hoping to get some traction and help with this. Ill be spending the cold months working my ass off to get this take care of.

I wish the Lucas county Cemetery association gave a s**t but they dont do any cleaning or preservation work.

NOT MY USUAL CONTENT/POSTS BUT IN OUT OF OPTIONS!

hello followers, as some of you have noticed, I've been really silent and I've relocated. Unfortunately not out of choice. I have a place to stay for my service dog and I but I need a foster for my cats until I find my own place in Michigan.

They are 7 years old and from the same litter. I've had them since they were itty kittens. They have been around other cats and dogs their entire lives. Non destructive. Use litter boxes and are indoor cats.

Hello followers. So sorry for the lack of posts and volunteering. My personal life took some unexpected turns and it's been a priority. I'm hoping to get some more cleaning done before the end of the season.

This previous weekend a friend and I helped at the Forest Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio cleaning event. Most of the pictures are from that event.

I am relocating to Michigan and hoping to get to cleaning up there.
Naturally I've been trying to explore the cemeteries in my new area. The last few photos are from recently exploring.

While I am relocating, that doesn't mean I'm done in Toledo. I will be close enough to continue my work in Collingwood Cemetery. Someone has also volunteered to keep the project going as well. More details on that later.

I hope everyone is still enjoying the weather.
