Generosity Looks Good on Us!

What a wonderful time we had at the Harvest Nations Annual Women’s Swap Meet!

Our ladies brought clothing, accessories, household items, and other beautiful things they were no longer using and gave them an opportunity to become a blessing to someone else. Everyone received tickets to bid on their favorite finds, and our ladies went home with some wonderful treasures!

But the best part wasn’t what we took home—it was what we shared.

We ate together. We laughed. We fellowshiped. We gave. And we simply enjoyed being together.

At Harvest Nations, we believe generosity doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply taking what’s in your hand and using it to bless somebody else.

That’s generosity. That’s community. That’s Harvest Nations.

Today is a reminder that each of us has the ability to make a difference in someone else's life.

Charity isn't only about what we give financially. It's also about how we give of ourselves—our time, our talents, our resources, our encouragement, and our compassion.

As followers of Christ, we're called to put love into action. That might look like helping a neighbor, supporting a local organization, checking on someone who's struggling, volunteering your time, or simply choosing kindness when it's needed most.

Today, we challenge you to ask yourself:

How can I be a blessing to someone else?

A new month gives us another opportunity to pause, reset, and be intentional about how we spend our time, where we place our energy, and how we nurture our relationship with God.

So, as we step into September, we have a question for you:

What is ONE thing you want to be more intentional about this month?

Maybe it’s spending more time in prayer.
Maybe it’s protecting your peace.
Maybe it’s being present with the people you love.
Maybe it’s finally taking a step toward something God has placed on your heart.

Whatever it is, write it down. Pray about it. And ask God to help you be intentional with the days ahead.
