For more than thirty years people have regularly gathered at Faith Lutheran Church for worship, as they are fed and nourished through the Word and Sacraments. We are looking for more pie makers for our 4th of July Pie Sale! What could make pie making more fun?

Have a pie making party: Invite people over for a fun morning or afternoon of pie making. Who is the messiest, who is the cleanest, who is the most creative? Bonus points for taking photos of your pie making process, putting it in the oven, and taking them out of the oven.

Play pie songs: American Pie (Don McLean), Cherry Pie (Warrant), I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)-(Four Tops), Sweetest Pie (Megan Thee Stallion & Dua Lipa), Apple Pie (Travis Scott), Key Lime Pie (Kenny Chesney), Sweet Potato Pie (James Taylor), Porcupine Pie (Neil Diamond), etc. Do you know any more pie songs?

Our July 4th Pie Sale is coming up! We need volunteers for the following:

1. Bake Pies – We had a little over 50 pies last year and we SOLD OUT! It would be wonderful to get even more pies this year. Pie tins are out. Please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board.

2. We need volunteers to help set up the tent, tables and pies at 8:00 a.m. Then we need five people to sell pies from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 3 for sales, 1 for ice cream and 1 for the cash box.
