The Share-A-Heart Toy Program was made possible by an incredible group of volunteers who helped coordinate donations, set up Santa’s Workshop, support families throughout the event, and help through cleanup. Your generosity of time, energy, and spirit made a meaningful difference for local families!

We want to extend a special thank you to Barb and Bill Leveille, the Northland Pines School District’s National Honor Society students, and the Eagle River Girl Scouts for your enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to jump in wherever help was needed. You truly embodied the spirit of service and community.

While we didn’t capture photos of every volunteer, these images represent the many hands and hearts that made this program such a success. Thank you all for helping make the season brighter for our community. ❤️🎁

🇺🇸 Thank You, Veterans Resource Center, Eagle River, WI! We are incredibly grateful to the Veterans Resource Center for opening their doors and welcoming us so warmly during the Share-A-Heart Toy Program once again. 🎄

Their generosity in allowing us to use their space made it possible for us to distribute toys to local families in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

The staff are always so kind, accommodating, and wonderful to work with—and we truly appreciate their hospitality and support of our mission.

If you haven’t already, we encourage our community to follow the Veterans Resource Center on social media, stop in to try one of their delicious pizzas or other food, and check out all the great things they do to support veterans and the Eagle River community. As we turn the page on another year, our hearts are full of gratitude. Because of your generosity, time, and compassion, local families received support, children experienced joy, and neighbors felt seen and cared for when they needed it most.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every act of kindness made a difference. You showed up for your community in powerful ways, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.

We are so thankful for the generosity shown at Nicolet Bank ❤️ Thank you for hosting a toy donation drop-off location and to your wonderful customers for the many thoughtful donations. This outpouring of kindness will help make the holidays brighter for local children and families.

Great stuff from our Eagle River branch! This year, the branch had several generous donors who took a good portion of all the hearts on our tree. One customer shared that she cashed in all her coin with us and then bought presents with that money. Another donor lost their home in a recent fire and still took names from the tree and brought in gifts. Thank you to our community and donors!

We are so appreciative of for their generous to the Vilas County Salvation Army!

Eagle River Light and Water, in partnership with WPPI Energy, recently distributed nearly $3,000 to six area organizations. This year’s recipients include the the Eagle River Historical Society, Trees for Tomorrow, the Salvation Army, Vilas Food Pantry, Warm the Children Fund and the Vilas County Economic Development Corporation.

Utility Manager Mike Sanborn notes that these donations are part of the utility’s century-long commitment to being a positive force in the community.

Through the generosity of our community, the Vilas County Salvation Army was able to share the joy of Christmas with local families through the Share-A-Heart Toy Program. This year, over 275 children across the Northland Pines, Phelps, and Three Lakes school districts will experience the excitement of opening gifts their parents lovingly chose just for them.
