🔥 KINGDOM FIRE 🔥

Men — the fire is lit.

Join us Thursday, April 3rd at 7pm on the patio at The Dalles SDA Church for Kingdom Fire — a gathering built around brotherhood, the Word, and an open flame.

No performance. No pretense. Just men showing up, getting real, and doing life together around the fire.

Come as you are. Leave different.

"I want to dwell among you."

That's not a policy statement. That's not a rule. That's a love declaration that echoes from Exodus all the way to Revelation 21 — and never loses volume.

Today's message is the Lopsided God who yearns to dwell among us.

Think about that word — yearns. Not "tolerates." Not "permits." Yearns.

Exodus 25:8 — "Have them make a sanctuary for Me, and I will dwell among them."

That's God saying: build Me a place to come home to. Because you are My family.

And He keeps saying it. Leviticus. Solomon's temple. Ezekiel in Babylon when everything looked finished. Every time humanity thought the door was closed — God circled back. I still want to dwell among My people.

Then the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (John 1:14). The Greek there isn't an accident — it's the same word used for the wilderness sanctuary. He didn't just visit. He pitched His tent in the neighborhood.

When Jesus ascended, that presence didn't leave — it moved into us. We are the temple. "I will live with them and walk among them" (2 Cor. 6:16).
And the whole story ends with Revelation 21: "God's dwelling place is among the people and He will dwell with them."

No temple needed. No sanctuary. Because God Himself is the temple — and He's finally home.

The most important word in Scripture might just be with. And God has been fighting to use it next to your name since before the foundations of the world.

You don't have to earn His presence. You ARE His sanctuary.
Happy Sabbath. 🔥

Sabbath morning reflection ☀️

"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." - Mark 2:27

Jesus reminds us that God's gift of rest isn't a burden or a box to check. It's designed *for* us—for our restoration, our relationships, our reconnection with what matters most.

Today isn't about rigid rules. It's about receiving what our Creator knew we'd need: space to breathe, time to wonder, freedom to simply *be* rather than constantly *do*.

However you're spending this Sabbath—whether in quiet reflection, joyful worship, or adventures in creation—may you experience it as the gift it was always meant to be.

Rest well, friends. 🙏

What's So Special About This Little Planet?

Two days after Christmas, we're still marveling at the wonder of it all.

Imagine an angel looking at Earth from space—small, unremarkable, just another speck in the vastness of creation. "What's so special about that one?"

The answer changes everything: This is the Visited Planet.
The Creator of galaxies chose to become one of us. Not because we were impressive or had it all together, but because of His relentless, incomprehensible love.

"God sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him." - 1 John 4:9

That's what makes this season—and every Sabbath—so extraordinary. We're not just insignificant specks on a small planet. We're beloved children of the King who came down to lift us up.

The God of the universe loves you that much.

Happy Sabbath! 🙏

Sabbath blessings on this clear, frosty morning! ❄️☀️

There's something special about the way sunlight sparkles on frost—a reminder that even in the cold, God's warmth and light break through.

As we enter this Thanksgiving week, I'm pausing to reflect on His faithfulness. The crisp air, the quiet beauty of the morning, and the gift of rest all point to a God who is abundantly good.

What are you thankful for this Sabbath?

🌟 Happy Global Bible Month, Church Family! 🌟

This month, believers around the world are joining together to celebrate and recommit to the beautiful gift God has given us — His Word.

Scripture is not just ink on pages — it is God speaking life, hope, and direction into our hearts today. Through His Word we grow, we are comforted, we are corrected, and we are drawn closer to Jesus.

“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13

This promise is for every one of us. If we seek Him sincerely, we will find Him. His presence, His peace, His wisdom — all are available when we open His Word.

📅 This month, we invite our whole church family to:

Spend time in Scripture every day

Ask God to reveal Himself in fresh and personal ways

Meditate on a verse or passage throughout the day

Share Scripture with others to encourage them

Pray for a renewed hunger for God’s Word

Whether it’s a chapter or a single verse, what matters most is the heart — seeking God earnestly and consistently.

Let’s move through this month in unity, growing together, listening for God’s voice, and allowing His Word to shape our thoughts, our choices, and our lives.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, give us a deeper hunger for Your Word.
Open our hearts, speak to us, and transform us as we seek You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📖❤️ Let’s make this a month of seeking, listening, and walking with God in His Word!
