Scripture calls us to approach God with thanksgiving, praise, and a wholehearted desire to worship Him “in spirit and in truth,” as Jesus taught the Samaritan woman. We were challenged to lay aside fear, pride, and reserved temperaments so we can worship with our whole being and pursue a deeper closeness with the Lord.
