Mt. Zion Baptist Church Celebrates Juneteenth

Today we honor the resilience, faith, and freedom of those who came before us. Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved African Americans learned of their freedom, reminding us that liberty delayed is not liberty denied.

As we celebrate this historic day, we reflect on the sacrifices made, the progress achieved, and the work that still lies ahead. We rejoice in the strength of our community, the power of our faith, and the promise of a brighter future for generations to come.
