re|engage 2025 at Western Hills Church of Christ

We are making preparations for our next semester and are making some changes. Our first meeting will be August 10th.

This semester, we highly encourage participants to worship at Western Hills on Sunday mornings at 9:45.

Our Lead Minister - Scott Meyer - will be preaching a series that follows the ReEngage material. Immediately following worship, our ReEngage groups will meet briefly and then use what is typically our 2nd Hour (class-time) to discuss the ReEngage material.

Childcare will be provided through our Children's Ministry.

Though your time in this group is ending, you have a lifetime ahead to put what you've learned into practice in your marriage. Keep running the race with endurance. Hebrews 12:1-2

𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏 13: 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒚

If you both seek to grow closer to God and follow his will, he will draw you closer as a couple. Oneness in your marriage is his will. Though you each will grow in different ways in different seasons of life, as one spouse draws nearer to Christ, it can affect the other spouse's relationship with Christ, too. God designed marriage for you to: Grow In Christ Together.

"As you celebrate, also realize that reengaging with God and with your spouse isn't something to do only for a season but principles to practice every day. God wants you to continue to increase in love for one another so that you fully experience all he intends for your life (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13).

Our prayer for you moving forward is that you would: Continue to Invest Daily in Your Relationship with Christ and Your Marriage."

𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏 12: 𝑺𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒚

Studying a biblical view of s*x is easy. Having conversations with your spouse about s*x is hard. But it is worth the work. With God's help, you can address sensitive topics, be gracious and kind, and be vulnerable to share your desires. God wants s*x to fuel your oneness, rather than be a hindrance to it (1 Corinthians 7:3-5). So pray for humility and courage to talk with your spouse about s*x. As you do, remember that the most important part of your s*x life is the quality of your marriage relationship. Connecting through good communication as you respect and serve each other throughout the day is the best way to prepare you for s*xual intimacy. All of marriage is foreplay!
