“God is Able” Jubilee

How wonderful for many of our New Hope members to join Old Savannah Baptist Church and other area church folks for the “God is Able” tent meeting Sunday night. Pastor Austin Frady opened the service, and some of our New Hope choir members joined in their congregational choir under the large tent.

Cody and Abby Roberts sang some stirring songs, and Preacher Heath Williams gave a wonderful message entitled, “Hold the Dream,” from Joshua 14:9-12. Like Caleb who stayed faithful for 45 years waiting on God’s promise, we, too, should hold to God’s promises…remember, they don’t have expiration dates, Bro. Williams reminded us!

* Don’t let the devil derail your dreams.
* Don’t let negative people derail your dreams.
* Don’t let your fear derail your dreams.

Be a dreamer…and realize that “Rejection is not proof that your dream is not real.” Hold the Dream! In Numbers 13:1-33, ten spies gave a negative report about the Promised Land, but Caleb and Joshua had a good report and believed God would help them succeed. 10 to 2 are not good odds. But with God on your side, the odds tip in your favor, and everything changes...and it did those 45 years later.

Pastor Ernie closed out Sunday night’s meeting in prayer.

Dare to be a Daniel

Daniel Holland did a great job in giving the Children's Message Sunday morning. Forgiveness is something worth learning early...after all, it gives you more time to reach that 490 mark! 😁

* This evening's services moved to "God Is Able" tent meeting services at Old Savannah Baptist Church.

* For this Wednesday, this will be Drop-In Church election night from 5 -7 p.m. Drive-in voting available. No Wed night Bible study.

Congratulations, Graduates!!!

What a blessing to highlight the students at church this morning. From Pre-K, Kindergarten, 8th Grade, High School, and College - Congratulations to all!

Youth Pastor Matt & Ryan Nations presented each student present at church with a Bible.

Pray for these young people as they move to the next grade, enter the work force, or whatever the Lord has for them. We are so proud of our grads for their faithfulness and accomplishments.
