What if God isn't looking at the amount?

This Sunday, Pastor Frank took us to Mark 12 and the story of the widow who dropped two tiny mites into the offering. It was almost nothing by the world's standards. Yet Jesus said she had given more than everyone else.

Why?

Because the others gave out of their surplus. She gave out of faith.

Her gift wasn't about being noticed. It wasn't about recognition, status, or applause. It was a simple act of trust. She believed God would be faithful, even when she had very little left to hold onto.

We were reminded that God sees beyond the numbers. He sees the heart. He sees our motives. He sees whether we're trusting Him or simply relying on ourselves.

The message also pointed us to the greatest gift ever given. Jesus left heaven, took our place on the cross, and gave everything so we could have forgiveness, hope, and eternal life.

A powerful morning of worship, truth, and celebration as we also rejoiced with Destiny in her decision to follow Christ.

May we leave this week trusting God's promises, living with open hands, and remembering that faith is not measured by what we keep, but often by what we're willing to place in His hands.

Throwback Thursday!

Crazy how fast time flies. These pics take us back to around 2018… different hairstyles, different seasons, but the same faithful God all the way through

So many memories.
So many prayers prayed.
So many lives changed.
So many laughs, worship moments, and “remember when…” stories.

The Bridge has never been about a building or perfect people. It’s always been about Jesus, community, and doing life together.

Thankful for every person who’s been part of the journey then and now

Drop a memory in the comments if you were around during these days.

Come join us tomorrow night and every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM as we step into a space of Worship, renewal, and prayer.

After this time together, we will then split into Men’s and Women’s Bible Study Groups.

For the ladies
Real women. Real life. Real God. No filter needed. Come as you are, whether you’re running on coffee, chaos, or barely made it through the day. Expect laughter, honest conversations, encouragement, and a reminder that we’re chasing Jesus, not perfection. Sisterhood beats doing life alone every time.

For the guys
Just ordinary men reading an extraordinary Book, asking tough questions, and learning how to become better husbands, fathers, and friends. No theology degree required. Just show up and be real.

Come hang out with us at The Bridge.

This Memorial Day, we remember the ones who gave everything so we could live in freedom. Freedom to gather. Freedom to worship. Freedom to lift up the name of Jesus without fear.

Today we honor the sacrifice. We remember the families. And we thank God for the men and women who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Thankful Thursday!

Last Friday at Celebrate Recovery in Southport our very own Tommy shared a powerful testimony of how God can take a life that’s broken, messy, and headed the wrong direction… and completely redeem it. From addiction, shame, bad decisions, rehab, and facing the consequences of his choices, to restoration, worship ministry, marriage, and helping others find freedom, his story was a reminder that Jesus still changes lives.

One of the biggest takeaways? Your past doesn’t disqualify you. God can turn pain into purpose and use the very thing that tried to destroy you to help somebody else heal.

So thankful for honesty, hope, and a room full of people chasing recovery one day at a time.

Yesterday at The Bridge Church, Pastor Frank preached from Acts 16 about Paul and Silas worshipping in prison even after being beaten and chained up. The message was all about God taking ordinary, messy situations and turning them into something extraordinary.

One of the biggest takeaways was this. Your worship in the middle of the struggle matters. Their prayers and praise shook the prison, broke chains, and led the jailer and his family to Jesus.

God still meets people in the mess. Still breaks chains. Still changes lives.
