Did you know that our Pastor, Bishop Michael L. Frink, is the Founder of Embracing Christ Fellowship Church?

Our story is deeply rooted in the legacy of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, where Bishop Frink was reared, nurtured, and ultimately called and sent forth to plant Embracing Christ Fellowship Church.

This Saturday, we will return to honor the sacred roots that helped shape who we are today and inspire who we are becoming. 🙏🏾❤️

Join Bishop Frink, our Gospel Choir, and our church family as we celebrate a legacy of honoring the past, celebrating the present, and building for the future!

Devotion Title: Perception vs. Perspective

People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7 NLT

Perception is what we see. Perspective is how we interpret what we see.

Two people can look at the same situation and walk away with two completely different perspectives because perception is often shaped by what is visible, while perspective is shaped by understanding, experience, and interpretation.

The danger is assuming that what we perceive is the whole truth. We may see a person's actions without knowing their struggle. We may see a moment without knowing the full story. But God sees beyond appearances—He sees the heart.

Before forming a perspective, ask yourself: Am I seeing the whole picture, or am I interpreting only what I perceive?

Prayer:
Lord, help me not to judge based only on what I see. Give me wisdom to seek understanding and a perspective that reflects Your heart. Amen.
