MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL CAMPFIRE GAMES - JUNE 14

Our Campfire Games are a time for our Youth to come together in Fellowship through games, community, and snacks! Our June food drive will be on Sunday, June 7 , and the collected items will go to the Sun Prairie Food Pantry. Heading into the summer months, their shelves are running low with an urgent plea for donations.

Some of the most needed items are canned chicken and tuna, canned protein meals, easy-to-fix meals like Spaghetti-Os or ravioli, coffee, cooking oil, shelf-stable juices, sugar, and flour in 1-2 pound packages, personal care items, and household cleaning supplies.

Jack Malone reflects on the Christian call to discipleship, reminding listeners that God calls each person in different ways to share Christ’s love and grace with others. Through stories of a woman serving people experiencing homelessness and his own experience mentoring two fatherless boys, he illustrates how answering God’s call often happens through simple acts of compassion and presence. The message concludes with the challenge to listen for God’s voice and respond, like the hymn says, “Here I am, Lord… I will hold your people in my heart.”
