the bible takes angels seriously – as messengers, guardians, agents of g–d's work in the world.

what it doesn't offer is a system.
no hierarchy, no names to invoke, no celestial assistants on call.

the longing behind popular angel–belief is real:
someone is watching over me.
someone is there.
that longing is not wrong.

but in christian terms, that someone has a name.
and it isn't an angel.

angels point.
they don't save.
that distinction matters.
