Every MCC pastor, chaplain, and ministry leader begins with a call. REVM helps emerging leaders discern that call by providing mentoring, guidance, and practical tools as they prepare for vocational ministry and continue their journey toward ordination.

In 2026, REVMs are being planned to equip future MCC leaders in Africa, Mexico, and the United States, helping strengthen the church's ministry for years to come.

Back on 2nd June 2026, we notified you that the Governing Board has voted to hold a Special General Conference on 10th October 2026, for consideration of the recommendations of the Commission on General Conference. The only items for consideration at this online Business Meeting will be the recommendations from the Commission.

The General Conference Business Forum will be held on 3rd October 2026.

At its 7th July meeting the Governing Board has set the times as follows:

Business Pack and Additional Information

As promised in the 2nd June email, the Commissioners and the Governing Board reviewed the feedback from the Discussion Circles held in June (attended by more than 100 people, in addition to staff, Commissioners and Governors).

The revised documents will be published in the Business Pack (which includes amended motions and a bylaw amendment proposal) by 3rd September 2026. These are versions that Lay Delegates share with the congregation, to get their instruction on how to vote.

Additional Discussion Circles will be offered for consideration during the month of September.

Dates for additional Discussion Circles and registration will be announced soon.

Biblical Languages for Beginners and Beyond

Want to deepen your understanding of Scripture and be able to read it in the original languages?

Dr. Jordan Dyck has been teaching biblical languages at seminary level since 2007, and Flourish is partially funding courses in Biblical Hebrew and Greek for MCC clergy and those in training, commencing late September 2026. Appropriate for beginners or those reengaging with previous learning.
