I saw a post a while back that I shared at the time, and it went something like this, "If only we could recognize the "good old days" while we were still in them." I often feel nostalgic lately for past seasons in my life, including the people and places of those times. But the truth is I feel this way about the past primarily because I mostly remember only the good in those times.

I believe that is the key to making the most of the present as well, by which if we practice this we can indeed identify this "good old day" and enjoy it fully while we still live in it. Focus on and be thankful for the best things in your life right now! And look to the future with optimism and anticipation, while appreciating the present and enjoying the journey.
