Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Luke 6:46-49 " Building On The Right Foundation ".

1. To truly follow Jesus means to make Him Lord of my life. He has to direct all I say and do. I must surrender my all to Him and allow Him to use me. To follow Him is to respod and to do just what He says.

2. The mission of the Church is to tell other's about the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

3. The word of God is the power we need when we're standing on shakey ground. If we're going to follow Jesus we can only have one Master. We must hear study and put the word of God in our heart's. We have to dig deep in God's word to have a solid foundation and in prayer this strengthens our faith.

4. If you following Jesus there should be a difference in your life, a Christian strives for profection.

5. When the storms of life comes, you can stand if you're following Jesus because you standing on a solid foundation.

6. We should build on Jesus, not people, not job not cars or houses because these things are sinking sands but when you build on Jesus, you can stand against anything!

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 17: 16-34 " Making an Unknown God known".

1. Some people know about religion but don't know the true and living God. We live in a world where we can Google an but still don't know Jesus. People are searching for something, purposes identity and something so personal but don't know the Unknown God.

2. There is a Spiritual need all around us. If we're going to reach people we have to go wherever the people are. Jesus said "Go". Into a dying world and tell them about Jesus. Sometimes we need to change our eyesight to those that are in need.

3. There is a bridge that leads to the truth. We need to introduce people to the God they don't know. Start where people are but don't leave them there. Find out what they're searching for then lead them to Jesus. God doesn't need us, we need Him.

4. Since God created us, we as people should care about one another. It doesn't matter what people has done, God grace is sufficient.

5. We need to make our decision about Jesus. We must repent from our sins, turn from your wicked ways and run to the Unknown God that's Jesus.

6. Some people will reject Jesus, some will postpone Him and some will accept Him. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, He is the Unknown God! The one died and rose and lives still today bringing men to Jesus. It's our job to help bring men/women to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 15: 6-11 verse" Grace Is Enough ".

1. The greatest threat against the Church doesn't come from outside but from within. Satan will try to distort what the Christian has heard from the gospel. If we're not careful, we'll start believing the junk that sound good but not true.

2. Faith in Jesus is good but not enough. Religion couldn't save us so that's why Jesus had to come.

3. Don't let anyone add to Gods plan of salvation. We have to learn to draw the line. The heart of the gospel is salvation. People still today try to add to the gospel. The gospel didn't say do more, your work doesn't save you, they are never the cause of salvation.

4. God has always saved people through grace. There is no room for compromise when the gospel is under attack. God knows the heart, people judge by race, education, income, and your past. God instilled grace. God cleanses the inside first. We want people to look save before they get saved. Transformation is the result of salvation.

5. Religion puts burdens on people but Jesus lifts people burdens. Grace removes burdens that religion doesn't.

6. The ground is level at the cross for everyone. We all need the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

7. Learn to recognize God's work when you see it. Sometimes the best response after hearing God's word is silence. Whenever God use us, we must give Him the glory and praise. Our experience must be tested by God's word. But the message of Jesus Christ remains the same.

Jesus Christ is always enough. We must stand firm in the gospel.

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 14:19- 22 verse " Shake It Off."

1. Some think that if you're walking in Christ life should be easy. BUT that's not true, Christians still are under attack , and to follow Jesus we have to learn to shake it off!

2. How do you keep moving when life knocks you down. You shake it off. They deepest wounds don't come from strangers, it comes from those that we love. One day people are for you the next day they are against you.

3. When people put you on a pedestal, shake it off. Jesus specializes in things people think is of no importance. When God does the work He does it successfully. God will not share His glory with anyone! Real ministry points people to Jesus. JESUS MUST BE , Has TO BE THE FOCUS OF THE CHURCH! Don't take the praise for yourself.

4. When life knocks you down shake it off. Your confidence is not in the crowd but in Jesus. Sometimes persecution can be that you're walking closly with Christ. Sometimes we need a "However ". When God gives you a "However", things will change.

5. Real faith doesn't pretend the stones didn't hurt, but we continue through the pain. Your calling is greater than whatever you're going through, shake it off!

6. When tribulations comes, shake it off and keep working for Christ. The gospel is worth suffering for. Crowds come and go, some follow Jesus for what He can give, but God wants us to make disciples.
Don't let failure, church hurt, grief, your past or anything or anyone stop you from spreading God's gospel message today. SHAKE ALL THAT OFF!

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 13: 13-52 verse " Paul's First Recorded Sermon ".

1. This is a mission of God from one city to the next. It was a continuous journey. They walked into the Jewish Temple and sat down.

2. It was normal in culture to pick out someone to bring the message.

3. Paul encouraged them to look back then to look up. God never leaves His children alone. You can depend on God to keep his promises.

4. God often put up with our stuff even in our disobedience complaining and mumbling. Gid has provided in the past present and he will in the future. God shall provide all our needs according to his riches in glory.

5. God is patient with us. Through all our failures, having our own agenda God is patient with us. He doesn't beat us down but loves us. He embraces us. God loves us no matter what. He is kind and merciful towards us.

6. God uses imperfect people to accomplish his plan for redemption. We are everyday missionaries carring hope to the world. He uses dead in sin people and bring them to life in him to tell the world there is Life in salvation. Hope is revealed to everyone.

7. How often do we hear the Sermon preached and go to the Pastor or Preacher and say great sermon, do we go home and study the message and see if it lined up with the word of God, or do we just leave and never give it a second thought. We should have a desire to want more of the word of God. We should study more and more to know the word and grow in the word.

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 13: 1-12 " When The Holy Spirit Changes Your Direction ".

1. God isn't committed to our comfort, He's committed to our blessing. Sometimes God moves in a different direction we must be willing to move with Him.

2. God speaks while His people are seeking Him. These men came from different nations. They had nothing in common but they all worshipped the Savior. Ministry without God becomes mechanical.

3. The calling didn't begin in Antioch but in heaven. When God speaks we should get in a hurry to listen. God intended His church to be a launching pad not a storage place.

4. Gods calling means releasing. Faith is always measured by what we're willing to release. You cannot embrace God's future by holding on to yesterday's past. Obedience doesn't remove obstacles.

5. God's direction always bring directions. Every sermon and scripture in the Bible should lead us to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 12: 1-12 verse " Prayer Srill Wirks".

1. We have seen lives change through the biok of Acts, seen Stephen stone we've seen the Church established and grow, we've seen people still be discouraged by the enemy. We've seen that it appears that the enemy has won.

2. Luke doesn't focus on the prison but focuses on God has the final word. We may not be able to fix it change it but we can pray. Sometimes Gid doesn't move the battle immediately but changes us for the battle. God still answers prayer!

3. Before we see God change or open the door we have to see the battle. The enemy may attack but God is still in control. Peters weapon was the gospel so much that Herod had 16 guards around him.

4. Security was designed to make it impossible to escape. What Herod thought was a prison, God turn it into a testimony. God has the power to break chains and open doors.

5. The number of soldiers magnified the gospel. The enemy can surround you but can't stop the hand of God. Sometimes we find ourselves in prison of fear.

7. The Church greatest weapon is consistent prayer. The Church didn't give up. Prayer is not a backup plan it's the only plan. A Church that dont pray is a dead Church. A Church understands and rely only on God. Sometimes we pray for answers but struggle when the answer comes.

When you pray, pray expecting God to answer! Stop praying anyway you bless me Lord, I'll be satisfied.

06/07/2026

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 11:17 verse "If God Did It, Don't Judge It!

1. What happens when God doesn't answer your prayers the way you expect Him to? Sometimes we asked God to grow the Church but then He sends those that looks like us. God never asked us for permission to do anything! If God hadn't looked beyond our faults, we too wouldn't be save.

2. Stop judging what God has done. It's easy to miss the miracle because we're focused on the method. A Church can be so focused on how people enter the building they forget on what they need in the building. God extended His grace on all of us. What God Is saving we shouldn't reject.

3. Trust God's leading even if it stretches us. Lord and "No" don't belong in the same sentence. Sometimes our comfort zone, prejudice, pride and traditions will keep us from growing. You cannot experience new blessings without change. Every major move of God requires us to get uncomfortable. Faith means trusting God even when you don't have the outcome.

4. Celebrate every person God sends. God's grace is bigger than our past, reputation, sins, our failures. If God only saved people that had it all together, we all would be lost. When a self-righteous member finally surrender that's a miracle.

4. Invest in what God is growing. God prepares a church that will impact the world. God can use the very thing meant to destroy the Church. The struggle you been complaining about God could be setting you up for a come up!

5. Grace can rewrite your story. Grace can erase your past.

6. Show love beyond word's. Everybody contributes according to their ability. Love sacrifices, love gives over and over again. Real love, shows up, gets involved.

Are we as a church depending on God or programs, or we depending on ourselves or other's?

05/31/2026

Pastor Henderson feeding us the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 10: 34-35 verse " The Gospel Crosses The Street ".

1. Sometimes division makes it ways into churches, but the gospel brings us together. God's love is bigger than our comfort zone.

2. God is already working on the other side. God is always working before we arrive. God is working on people that you have almost given up on. God works behind the scene. Sincerity is important, but sincerity alone can't save. Never write people off.

3. God has to work on us before He works through us. People will call the name Lord but yet don't trust Him. We say Lord use me but on my own terms. God has to deal with our attitude, fears and comfort zones. What barriers are God trying to remove from us.

4. The Gospel cause us to cross the street. We should want everyone to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Ministry should mean talking to people that's not like us, we have to approach those that need the love of Jesus.

5. Jesus is the message for everyone, He doesn't play favoritism, He is for everybody not just black people. Jesus alone is the answer. Rich or poor. Whomever believes and accept Jesus Christ shall be saved.

6. The Holy Spirit breaks down walls. The people we give up on belongs to God. Because of grace we are a family. If God lead you to share the love of Jesus and what He can do in their life today.

05/24/2026

Pastor Henderson feeding the word of God Sermon Series Going Growing and Glowing Acts 9:32-43 verse " There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus ".

1. The Power is not in the preacher, the power is not in a building, the power is in the name of Jesus. He can move, heal deliver and set free today. The power is never in the vessel, but in Jesus Christ!

2. People will adjust to brokenness after awhile, but Jesus doesn't forget broken people. One touch from Jesus can change year's of brokenness. Don't allow the length of time convince you that Jesus can't change your circumstances.

3. Ministry is not limited to a pulpit. Your name may never pop up on a marquee, but God knows your work. He see every act of kindness. Faithful people experience pain and suffering. Faith doesn't mean we will avoid hardship. Jesus has power in your pain.

4. Power flows from the power of prayer. What is your first response when trouble comes in your life? Do you complain, panicked or worry or pray first? You should pray first and ask God to help you and have someone to pray with you.

5. Humility always proceed pride. Prayer works, it changes a worry heart. Prayer is a powerful tool that a Christian has, prayer is not like a cellphone, God answers everytime! When God answers thing's change!

6. Jesus is real today! When you feel like there's no hope, God will show up and show out! He always has a plan and it works out.

7. Jesus has ressurection power, He can speak to a dead situations and He stills revived dead dreams, dead marriages, and even dead hope. When God speaks He moves around dead thing's and they come to life.

Our message and everything we do should point soul's to Jesus Christ.
