Support our recovery community by buying a cool Underground T-Shirt or Sweatshirt!

The Gathering Underground Recovery Community (URC) is a service for addicts, loved ones, spiritual rebels, and hope seekers who have often felt unwelcome and/or stigmatized in more traditional “church” settings.

Every Wednesday at 6 pm at the McCausland site. After we meet as a community, traditional and non-traditional 12-step meetings are offered for those looking for a recovery group.

Our Metro East site was recently gifted a beautiful wooden cross by woodworkers who are excited for our church! They designed it to reflect the cross at the McCausland site to show our connectedness as one Gathering church.

Before hanging it up, we had a mini-worship service with our volunteer team to sign the back and pray over the new cross, blessing our work of starting a church that shares the authentic Jesus with the Metro East community!

We're so thankful to be given such a warm welcome to the Metro East this year 🧡

Think about who in your life should be sitting in worship next to you and make sure they know they are welcome. It could change someone's life!

Try hosting a Summer Hang this June or July! Basically, it’s anything fun that helps people connect - think backyard BBQs, park meetups, pickleball showdowns, board games, service projects, dog walks, taco nights...you get the idea. It’s casual, it’s low-stress, and it’s all about community.

Right now, when more and more people are feeling socially disconnected, these small gatherings matter. They build trust, create belonging, and bring joy - not just for us, but for our neighbors, coworkers, and friends.
