What or who in your life has the authority to contradict you?

Every one of us is submitted to something. It may be our own desires, public opinion, success, or God's Word. Whatever we allow to shape our decisions and direct our lives will ultimately determine the direction of our future.

The question isn't whether you're submitted to something, it's what you're submitted to. When we willingly come under God's Word and authority, we discover a foundation that brings security, freedom, and hope that extends beyond our circumstances.

If you're longing for any of those, consider this: perhaps the path forward begins with allowing God's Word to have the final say in your life.

On January 1st, 1863, the Emancipation Proclamation took effect and slaves across the United States were granted their freedom. However, for many slaves, they did not become aware of this freedom for over two years later.
On Juneteenth, we remember and celebrate the day these slaves learned of their newfound freedom.

This historic day echoes the greater truth of the Gospel: through Jesus, we are freed from the bo***ge of sin and given new life. But there are still many who are not aware of the freedom that has been purchased for them.

As we honor this important day, let’s embrace the ultimate liberation that comes through Christ.

This Sunday, we’re excited to celebrate Father’s Day together!

We want to take time to honor and thank the fathers and father figures in our Jubilee family for the way they faithfully love, lead, and serve those around them. Your presence matters, and the impact you make in both the big moments and the everyday moments is significant.

We’ll also be celebrating and praying over our first-time dads as they step into this incredible new season of fatherhood. Join us as we encourage these men, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and thank Him for the gift of fathers and father figures in our lives.

When will you know you've made it?

When you retire? When your bank account reaches a certain number? When life finally feels comfortable and under control?

The world tells us success is found in comfort, security, and freedom. But God offers something greater. The fullest life isn't found in having everything you want—it's found in becoming who God created you to be. The best life isn't a comfortable life; it's a godly one.

Do you bring your pain and struggles to others openly, or do you wait for someone to ask?

God never designed us to walk through life alone. We were created for loving community, a place where vulnerability is met with grace, burdens are shared, and invite God in to bring healing.

God is moving among the next generation! Their obedience and faith is inspiring!
Lincoln and Logan Mitchell recently took steps of faith by being baptized.

"I am the type of person that worries about getting things wrong. I have prayed and asked Jesus into my heart every time there was an opportunity to. I was worried I might not do it right. One night, I went to a Christian concert with the youth group. One of the artists was singing a song called "Altar". The song was describing how God washes away our shame. I felt God's love in a way I never had before. I no longer worry about if I am doing it right, because I know that Jesus is the one that did it right. The next day, I told my parents I was ready to be baptized." -Lincoln Mitchell, Jubilee Washington

"Growing up in church, there was never a time I didn't know about Jesus. But one night, my mom was reading a devotional for kids before bed. That night, it compared God's grace to the size of space. It told how no matter what mistake, what sin, or what mess you've made God is ready to forgive you, you just have to ask. Tears began to roll down my face and my mom asked me what was wrong. I said I didn't know. My mom asked if I was ready to ask God to forgive my sins and I said yes. She prayed with me and I gave my life to God. Since then, I have felt God's presence in my life. I want to get baptized today because Jesus tells us to!" -Logan Mitchell, jubilee Washington
