On Sunday we celebrated the legacy of our second and longest-serving minister Rev. Samuel Kruse! Our heritage committee pulled together some photos from the early days of St. Lucas and some of the way the church has transformed over the years.

This Sunday is Kruse Day and we are excited to look back on the heritage of St. Lucas UCC!

We’ll look back at some old photos and to learn a bit about our local history during worship and on the Social Hall bulletin board. If you want to hear, see and learn a bit more, sign up to attend our 25-minute Kruse Heritage Center overview tour. Sign up sheets are on the table outside of the sanctuary.

Join us on Sunday, September 13 for Celebration Sunday! Starting at 11:00 am, we will have a hotdog lunch, a cake walk, corn hole tournament, and snow cones. We will have a foam party for kids, so come prepared or bring extra clothes. Come rain or shine and bring your lawn chair for an afternoon of fun!
