Hey, Ridgecrest family! πŸ‘‹ Just a quick heads-up β€” we won't have Wednesday night programming throughout the month of June. Here are the dates we'll be taking a break:

πŸ“… June 3
πŸ“… June 10

We'll be back at it in July and can't wait to see you then! In the meantime, enjoy your summer evenings with your family. β˜€οΈ

God has always had a heart for the overlooked β€” and He calls His Church to the same.

We treasure the "least of these." That's a commitment to foster and orphaned children, to widows and the homebound, to the sick and lonely β€” and to the spiritually vulnerable around the world who have never had the chance to hear about Jesus. We give of ourselves and our financial resources because we believe every vulnerable person is made in the image of God and worthy of care.

Pure religion, according to James, looks like this.

Your kids are invited to the brightest week of the year! ✨

Illumination Station VBS is coming June 14–18 from 6–8:30pm, and we are bringing the energy β€” Bible teaching, music, games, and hands-on activities all designed to shine a light on who Jesus really is.

Open to kids entering Kindergarten through completed 6th grade. Don't miss it β€” tag a family who needs to know! πŸ‘‡ Head to our church website to register online! https://www.ridgecrestbaptist.org/vbs

Memorial Day isn't just the start of summer, it's a time to pause.

Today we remember the fallen. The ones who said "yes" when the cost was everything. The ones whose names are carved in stone and carried in the hearts of families who will never stop missing them.

We honor them. We thank them.

And on a day marked by sacrifice, we're reminded of the greatest sacrifice of all β€” a love that also chose to lay down His life. May His love bring comfort to every grieving heart today.

Forty years ago, God planted a seed in this community β€” and what a harvest He has brought forth. Over the past four decades, Ridgecrest Baptist Church has seen God's faithfulness written across countless lives changed, families restored, and hearts drawn to the hope of the Gospel. From our earliest days to this very moment, His hand has been upon this church, and we are grateful.

The home is the first discipleship environment God ever designed.

Deuteronomy 6 paints a picture of faith woven into the fabric of daily family life β€” at the table, on the road, at bedtime. Not a formal program. Just a parent who loves Jesus, living it out in front of their kids. We believe that picture still holds today. We'll always fight for the spiritual health and development of the family β€” and we're here to walk alongside you as you do the same.

40 years. One faithful God. πŸ™Œ

On Sunday, May 17, we're celebrating Homecoming Sunday β€” a special day honoring 40 years of what God has done in and through Ridgecrest. Both morning services (9:15 & 10:45am) will include a special emphasis on this milestone, and after the second service we're staying for food and fellowship.

Whether you've been here from the beginning or you're walking through our doors for the first time β€” we want you here for this one. Come celebrate with us!

Scripture calls us to encourage one another *daily* β€” and there's a reason for that.

Sin has a way of hardening hearts over time. Loneliness does too. That's why community isn't optional for the Christian life β€” it's the very place where we stay soft toward God and toward each other. Principle #3 shapes how we care for people at Ridgecrest: through Small Groups, Life Groups, and genuine life-on-life relationships that reflect how richly God has loved us.

Since God has so richly loved us, we yearn to love one another in the same way.
