Lydick ECM Daycare/Preschool Lydick ECM is a daycare/preschool with a Christian foundation. We offer care for ages 8 weeks to 5 y These are busy bees indeed preparing for Kindergarten.

We offer care for 6 week old infants and they remain in the nursery until 24 months. They then move up to our "Duckling" room for a year of fun and learning! At around 24 months they move onto our Tadpole room of 3 year olds. These youngsters are aptly named for the leaps of learning and growing they do! When they are 4 (and potty trained) they go to our Honeybee room! Thankfully we do not lose th

e youngsters yet (if we can help it anyway!!) We offer after school care up to age 12! Some of these children are even working here now as aides and volunteers!! We love our kids and try to keep them here as long as we can!!! If you are interested in coming in for a visit we do tours by appointment only. It was a warm one this morning but the Lydick Summer Daycare Camp, kiddos made it to Reins of Life - Therapeutic horseback riding.
Our littles enjoyed a fun and educational visit. They had the opportunity to observe horses up close, learn about how they are cared for, and explore the farm.
They even had the chance to practice how to get up on a saddle. The smiles show it all.
It was a wonderful day of learning, exploration, and connecting with nature.
Thank you again to Reins of Life for allowing us to visit and all of the the wonderful learning, and fun, that was had. 🐴

Dear Families,
It is with a mix of joy and a heavy heart that I announce my resignation from Lydick ECM. After 22 years as the director of this beautiful program, it is time for me to say goodbye.

Saying goodbye to your children and your families is the hardest part of this transition. Watching so many of your littles grow, learn,
and thrive has been the greatest privilege of my life! Thank you for trusting me with your most precious treasure and allowing me to be a part of your village for over two decades.

I am incredibly proud of the community we have built here. As I step into this new chapter, I will carry memories of your beautiful families with me always. I wish you and your children all the best in the years to come.

These past two days we released our butterflies and said a special prayer together. Watching them spread their wings and fly away reminded us of God’s beautiful creation, growth, and new beginnings.
Outdoor experiences support children’s physical, social, and emotional development while helping them learn kindness, responsibility, and respect for living things. Even simple moments like watching butterflies, planting flowers (which will be happening soon), or exploring outside, can create meaningful learning experiences that inspire wonder and joy, and how important mother earth is. 🌿🦋☀️🌎
