📣OCC UPDATE📣
This is the story of Eva, a young girl from another religion whose life began to change in the most unexpected way. One day, The Greatest Journey class teacher, Sister Rita, invited Eva to attend The Greatest Journey class held in her home. Eva agreed, thinking it would just be a way to pass the time. But from the very first class, something touched her heart.
She enjoyed the lessons, the songs, and the stories she heard. Seeing her interest, Sister Rita asked if she could bring a few friends along. Eva didn’t hesitate—she invited her entire group of friends from the neighborhood. To everyone’s surprise, all 27 of them came and began attending the class at Sister Rita’s house.
What started as a casual visit soon became a journey of discovery. As Eva listened week after week, she began to understand who Jesus is—how He was born, why He came into this world, and how much He loves every person. Her curiosity grew into a genuine desire to learn, and her life slowly began to transform.
Her parents were the first to notice the difference. She seemed happier… calmer… more focused. For a long time, Eva had struggled academically, especially in her local language. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t pass her tests. But after attending The Greater Journey classes, she says something changed within her. She found new confidence, new clarity—and for the first time, she passed her language exam.
Today, Eva is growing in her walk with Christ with great enthusiasm. She loves learning verses, listens eagerly to every story, and each evening she shares what she learned with her friends—keeping the spark alive among all 27 of them.
What began as a simple invitation has become a movement of transformation in the community, all starting with one girl who walked into a class “just for the time to pass” and found a new direction for her life.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
