On Sept. 21st, we will have our monthly community food bank. Sign up is 9:00-10:00am that morning. Volunteers are always needed. If you can help , please come at 8:30 am. This is a food bank sponsored by our community. As Mother Teresa said “If you cannot feed a 100 people, than just feed one.”
Food insecurity is real, please help to make a difference through donations of food or monetary help to purchase food. 305 Lakeside Dr, Sneads Ferry. 910-327-4011. Thank you.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL BASH: We are out of backpacks but gave out OVER 300 BACKPACKS! 🎒

I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly blessed we are after this year’s Back to School Bash.

Between the event itself and the backpacks that went out afterward to additional families and children in need, we were able to give out more than 300 backpacks this year!

That says something pretty powerful about our community and about this event: the Back to School Bash is needed. It is more than just one day. It is our churches, volunteers, community partners, donors, and neighbors coming together to make sure local kids start the school year feeling supported, prepared, and loved.

Thank you to everyone from First United Methodist Church of Sneads Ferry and The Edge, and to every volunteer, donor, community partner, and neighbor who showed up, helped behind the scenes, and supported this event in any way.

We will keep building on this every year.

Over 300 backpacks this year… next year, we’re pushing for 400! 🎒🙌
