đź“– Sermon Recap đź“–

Sunday we continued our series ALIVE and stepped into what it means to be ALIVE: In Christ.

We were reminded that the resurrection isn’t just something we celebrate once a year, it’s a reality we are called to live in every single day.

Because He lives, we are called to a new life!

Not a slightly improved version of the old life, but a completely transformed life through Christ.

Resurrection isn’t observation—resurrection is transformation.
Through Romans 6, we were challenged with this truth: If we’ve been united with Christ in His death, then we are also raised with Him into newness of life!

New Life Brings New Identity
We are no longer defined by sin, but set free in Christ!

New Life Brings New Opportunities
We are no longer slaves to sin, but alive to God with purpose!

Am I living like someone who has been made new?
Am I living like someone who has been set free?
Am I living like someone who sees obedience as opportunity?

The resurrection changed everything. The question is has it changed us?

Take some time this week to reflect, realign, and step fully into the new life Christ has given you!

PASSION WEEK: MOVING FORWARD

Last week, we walked through the story.

From the temple…
to the teaching…
to the quiet decisions…
to the table…
to the cross…
to the silence…
to the empty tomb.

And now…it’s Monday…A New Week.

Life doesn’t pause.
Schedules pick back up.
Normal returns.

But something has changed.

The resurrection wasn’t just a moment we celebrated.
It’s a reality we carry.

Into our homes.
Our conversations.
Our decisions.
Our everyday lives.

Because Jesus didn’t rise
so we could go back to the same.

He rose so we could walk in something new.

Because resurrection isn’t the end of the story—
it’s the beginning of a new way to live.

Reflection:
What does it look like for me to carry resurrection into my everyday life?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for what You’ve done.
Not just for the moment but for my life.
Help me walk in what You’ve made possible.
Lead me forward in new life, today and every day.

A new week begins:
walk in the life He’s given you.

04/05/2026

Today we conclude our series ALIVE!
And we learn what truly means to be made alive in Christ!
That the resurrection isn't just about celebration, it's about transformation!

Join us this evening as we reflect on the price our Savior paid for our salvation!

PASSION WEEK: SUNDAY

Early Sunday morning,
before the sun came up,
they went to the tomb.

Still carrying grief.
Still unsure what came next.

But when they arrived…
the stone was gone.

The tomb was empty.

The place that once held death
couldn’t hold Him anymore.

Jesus had risen.

Not just as a moment to celebrate…
but as a reality that changes everything.

Because sin didn’t win.
Death didn’t win.
The story didn’t end there.

Because Jesus is alive.

Reflection:
What does it mean for my life
that Jesus didn’t stay in the grave?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for the resurrection.
For new life.
For hope that doesn’t fade.
Help me walk in the life You’ve given me.

Passion week breaks open:
step into the life He offers.

PASSION WEEK : SATURDAY

Saturday was quiet.

Jesus had been crucified.
The tomb was sealed.
The crowds were gone.

Everything felt finished.

The disciples were left
with questions, fear and grief.

What now?
What did it all mean?
Had they misunderstood everything?

Because sometimes,
what God is doing
doesn’t look like anything at all.

Just silence.
Stillness.
Waiting.

But just because it feels quiet
doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

Because God is still working…
even when we can’t see it.

Reflection:
Where in my life does it feel quiet or uncertain right now?

Prayer:
God, help me trust You in the waiting.
When I don’t see what You’re doing,
remind me that You’re still at work.
Give me faith to hold on.

Passion week pauses:
stay here, even in the silence.

On this day, love paid the price and the cross paid it in full!

Join us this evening as we reflect on the price our Savior paid for our salvation!

PASSION WEEK: FRIDAY

By Friday, everything had changed.

Jesus was arrested.
Beaten. Mocked.
Led to a cross.

The crowds that once followed Him
now stood at a distance.

Some shouted.
Some watched.
Some walked away.

He was nailed to the cross.

Not for anything He had done…
but for everything we have.

He could have stopped it.
He didn’t.

He stayed.

Through the pain.
Through the weight.
Through the silence.

Not because He had to…
but because He chose to.

Because love stayed.

Reflection:
What does His sacrifice mean for me… personally?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for the cross.
For choosing to stay.
For carrying what I couldn’t.
Help me never lose sight of what it cost.

Passion week reaches the cross:
take time to sit with what it cost.

So much to take in, reflect on, and apply just from this one evening!

Lord, help us always look to you as our perfect example of how to handle any situation and to live and love like you!

PASSION WEEK: THURSDAY

On Thursday, Jesus sat down with His disciples
for a final meal.

He knew what was coming.
The betrayal.
The suffering.
The cross.

And still…He chose to be present.

He broke bread.
Shared the cup.
And told them to remember.

Not just what He said…but what He was about to do.

Then, He did something unexpected.

He got up, took a towel,
and began washing their feet.

The One with all authority chose to serve.

Not out of obligation…but out of love.

Because following Jesus
isn’t just about knowing truth;
it’s about living it out.

In humility.
In surrender.
In love.

Because love is most clearly seen
in what we’re willing to give.

Reflection:
Where is Jesus inviting me
to surrender, serve or lay something down?

Prayer:
Jesus, teach me to follow Your example.
To choose humility over pride.
To serve instead of being served.
And to trust You with what I need to lay down.

Passion week moves closer:
love is about to cost something.
