My Camino Del Norte - Spain trip!
I hope you enjoy a few of my photos I took from my 150 mile hike on the Camino Del Norte. I chose this hike because my Grandfather had immigrated from Santander and I wanted to go to the church he was Baptized in. Little did I know that I had chosen one of the hardest treks. The first few days I was like whose crazy idea was this? I can stop anytime I want. It became easier as I went on for which I’m thankful. Josh (my son) met us in Santander and we journeyed to the little town where my Grandfather was Baptized in. I’m not sure if we would have made it there - a bus, walking and taxi and knowing Spanish he saved us from ourselves! The photos are snippets of treasured moments along our way. My photos were few as I was trying to stay upright on the paths. I included one where you can see the path with boulders and mixed rock, sand & mud. My camera was not my priority! Every person’s Camino is their own - be it how far did you walk - did you do the entire route - some come back and complete where they left their hike - be it to reset life - religious and spiritual reasons- it is your Camino - I say Buen Camino my friends.
I believe I will be back again next year - Simply Said It’s Good For My Soul. 🙏🏾❤️Love to you all and thanks for reading.
Heading home soon and I’ll have posts on my Hometown- Sitka, Alaska - The Place I Absolutely Love!
