Today is Christmas Eve!

"But the angel said to [the shepherds], 'Do not be afraid; for see — I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!'" (Luke 2:10-14). —Bread for the Day

Thank you so much to the Sitka Lutheran Quilters and the Ocean Wave Quilters for your generous donation of handmade quilts for the Hítx’i Sáani Community!

Every quilt is a work of love, and every stitch reflects the care our community has for its neighbors. These quilts will welcome our new residents with warmth, comfort, and a sense of home from the very first night they move in.

Gunalchéesh to everyone who put their time, creativity, and heart into these beautiful gifts. Your generosity will be felt every single day.
