Join us for Easter Sunday service on April 5th. We have two times available to attend; either 8:30am or 10:30am. Both services will be identical.

It'll be a special celebration filled with joy, reflection, and community. The service will feature uplifting music, an inspiring message, and the warmth of fellowship. Bring your family and friends, and let’s make this Easter a time of renewal and hope. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Between services, we encourage all to join us in fellowship with coffee & donuts in the Fellowship Hall.

The holiday season is here, and we know how busy it can get! Between shopping, gift wrapping, and preparing for family gatherings, sometimes you just need a little break. That’s why we’re excited to invite your child to FRC’s Kids Christmas Morning—a festive, fun-filled event where your kids can enjoy all the holiday cheer while you take care of your to-do list!

Event Details

Who: Kids 5 years old through 5th Grade
When: Saturday, December 20th — 9am to 12pm (with drop-off starting earlier)
Where: First Reformed Church, Sioux Falls, SD
Cost: $15 per child (covers food & supplies), $30 Max per family.

What’s Happening?

We’ve packed this special morning with holiday fun your child will love:

🎄 Holiday Games – Festive and full of laughter
🎨 Holiday Crafts – Creative hands-on fun
🎬 Christmas Movie – Cozy up and enjoy a holiday favorite
🍕 Pizza & Snacks – Because every celebration needs yummy food!

Kids are welcome to come in their Christmas pajamas and bring a blanket and pillow for an extra cozy morning.

Despite the slightly chilly weather during our Trunk or Treat event last night, we had an absolutely spooktacular time! It was a delight to see so many community Trick-or-Treaters. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making it a memorable evening!

Our hearts are with those in Jamaica 🙏

A team is set to travel to Jamaica in February. While the trip may change after the recent storm, our commitment to serve as the hands and feet of Christ remains unwavering. If you would like to support our Mission Jamaica team, please join us at our annual Chili Festival tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29th, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. We welcome free-will donations to help raise funds for building a home for a family in need.

With wind speeds reaching over 170 miles per hour, even many popular tourist destinations are at risk of severe damage.

This morning our Pre-K and Elementary families united to serve our community!

We faithfully served by tying blankets to keep people and animals warm this winter.

Thank you all for showing up to the 21st annual 50's Drive-In at first reformed church!! Through this event, we brought in over 9 grand for our youth program! Its because of you all showing up that we are able to do the trips, retreats, and events that we are to lead, challenge and support the youth of FRC as we all work to be more like Jesus! So once again, thank you so much on behalf of the Church, Youth Leaders, and Youth Group Students for supporting our program this year!! We also want to give a big thanks to Surfin Safari for playing some great music and to Great Plains Street Rodders for bringing out all of their awesome rides!!

Yesterday, we were honored to witness the baptism of Payton Danielle, daughter of Pastor Tyler and his wife, Taylor. We are thrilled to welcome Payton into our community and look forward to supporting her as she grows in faith. May her life be filled with blessings, guidance, and endless love. 🙏❤️

Last week, the VBS kids had a friendly competition to bring in toys and monetary donations for a Christmas in July Toy Drive. The kids collected over 160 toys for the Center of Hope and the Community Outreach Sharing Christmas program!

Sioux Falls Santa took a break from his summer vacation to remind us why we give gifts -- because we received the BEST gift possible with Jesus Christ.

And if Santa is around, of course we need to take pictures with him!
