For the first time in its 71-year history, FCA has been named to Forbes’ 2025–2026 America’s Top Charities list - a significant milestone that highlights the ministry’s enduring impact through sports.
Since 1954, FCA has challenged coaches and athletes to use the powerful platform of athletics to share the transforming message of Jesus Christ. This national recognition reflects FCA’s steadfast commitment to its mission and the generosity of supporters who make the work possible.
“This monumental recognition from Forbes is a testament to the continued vision and mission of FCA: to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes,” said FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson. “We remain dedicated to leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.”
Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s Top Charities is based on the value of private donations received in the most recently reported fiscal year and excludes revenue from government support, service fees or investment earnings. The list also allows readers to sort organizations by mission focus, including youth and faith-based efforts.
Williamson emphasized that the recognition ultimately belongs to FCA’s donors. “Giving is at the heart of FCA,” he said. “Every donor plays a vital role—through their generosity, lives are impacted, faith is shared and Christ’s love is made known around the world.”
FCA reaches coaches and athletes through Camps, Huddles, Fields of Faith events and other ministry opportunities designed to engage, equip and empower them to know and grow in Christ and to lead others to do the same. Central to this mission is FCA’s commitment to Bible ministry. Since hosting its first camp in 1956, FCA has printed more than 200,000 Bibles annually and distributed nearly 3 million Bibles worldwide over the past 15 years.
This recognition from Forbes affirms the lasting influence of FCA’s mission and the faithful community that continues to make it possible.
