We weren't meant to walk through life, faith, marriage, fatherhood, work, and everything in between alone. That's why we're starting a Men's Group at Cornerstone—a place to connect, encourage one another, grow in God's Word, and build genuine friendships with other men who are walking the same journey.

Make room for what matters.

The week can fill up quickly. Work, family, responsibilities, errands, and everything in between. Before we know it, we're running from one thing to the next without taking a moment to slow down. But there is something powerful about setting aside time to be in God's presence.

“Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings.” — Hebrews 10:22

Give yourself permission to pause. Come worship. Come listen. Come be encouraged. Come with whatever you're carrying and make room for God to meet you there. You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors. You don't have to pretend everything is okay. Just come.

⛪ Bring your family.
🤝 Invite someone who may need encouragement.
❤️ Come ready to encounter God and grow together.

We live in a world where it's easy to divide.

Different opinions. Different backgrounds. Different personalities. Different ways of seeing the world. And sometimes, those differences can become more important to us than the person standing in front of us. But as followers of Jesus, we're called to something greater.

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” — Ephesians 4:3

Unity doesn't mean we agree on everything. It means we choose to love even when we disagree. It means listening instead of assuming.

🤍Choosing grace instead of judgment.
🌿Choosing humility instead of pride.
🤝Choosing relationship instead of division.

Maybe there's someone you've been keeping at a distance because of a disagreement. Maybe there's a conversation you've avoided because you'd rather be right than reconciled.

What would happen if we laid down our pride and remembered what we have in common? Jesus.

The world doesn't need more Christians fighting to prove who's right. It needs believers who are willing to love like Jesus, extend grace, and show what unity looks like.

Let's be people who don't let our differences divide what Christ died to unite. Sometimes putting aside our differences isn't about changing someone else's mind. It's about allowing Jesus to change hearts, theirs and ours.

We can spend so much of our lives asking, “What do I want?”

What do I want to accomplish?
Where do I want to go?
What will make me happy?
What will make my life easier?

We chase worldly things – money, fame, the newest cool toy, a fancy car, a larger house.

But as followers of Jesus, perhaps there's a more important question:
“God, what do You want from me?”

📖 “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!” — Psalm 139:23

That's not always an easy prayer.

Because when we genuinely invite God to search our hearts, He may reveal things we'd rather ignore—attitudes we need to surrender, relationships we need to repair, habits that are pulling us away from Him, or areas where we've been choosing our own way instead of trusting His.

Following Jesus isn't just about believing the right things. It's about allowing Him to change us.

So today, take a moment to slow down and honestly ask:
Am I becoming more like Jesus?
Is there anything I'm holding onto that God is asking me to surrender?
Am I making room for Him, or have I allowed other things to take His place?

We don't reflect to condemn ourselves. We reflect so we can draw closer to the One who loves us enough to transform us.

🙏 Lord, search my heart. Show me what needs to change. Give me the courage to surrender it and the faith to follow You.

Sometimes the most important step in our faith isn't moving forward. It's stopping long enough to let God speak.

What if God is asking you to take the next step?

Sometimes stepping out in faith doesn't look like a giant leap. Sometimes it's simply saying yes when you don't have all the answers.

✨ Maybe God is asking you to start something new.
✨ Maybe He's asking you to let go of something you've been holding onto.
✨ Maybe He's calling you to serve, to give, to forgive, to speak up, or to trust Him with something you've been afraid to surrender.

And if we're honest, faith can feel uncomfortable. We often want God to show us the whole path before we're willing to take the first step. But that's not always how He works.

📖 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 🙏

Faith means trusting God's character even when we can't see the outcome. It means believing that His plan is better than our own, even when the next step feels uncertain. Maybe you don't need to know where the road leads. Maybe you just need to trust the One who is leading you.

Take the step. Trust His timing. Follow His voice. And remember—you never step into God's calling alone.

✨ God is already there. And we would love to walk alongside you.
