Sunday, September 6, 2026 – Ben Peterson, “He Must Increase” - John 3:30
Pastor Steve welcomes to the pulpit with him international speaker, Ben Peterson, founder of Engage Your Destiny, and author of two books: “Engage Your Destiny” and “When Intelligence Isn’t Human – Navigating Your Faith in the Age of AI” (just released at the end of August, 2026).
Ben’s passion is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ on to military bases around the world, empowering soldiers with the gospel as they navigate the challenging world of military endeavors. Ben’s heart is to help stem the tide of soldier suicides with the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Ben has witnessed firsthand the toll war takes on soldiers, having himself served a tour of duty in Iraq. Ben has found favor with God and the US Military in bringing the gospel into places where strength and brokenness meet powerfully each day.
On Sunday, September 6, Ben will be bringing the word from John 3 where the apostle John testifies: “He (that is, Jesus) must increase, and I must decrease.” In the new age of AI, navigating one’s faith is being tested daily and Ben will help us see the need for Jesus to increase in us daily as the world of AI attempts to navigate this life for us.
